Sydney Larson Owner/Instructor

Sydney has studied, and been in love with, dance since the age of 3. She has been an instructor since the age of 16 and is equipped with training in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, dance team, and musical theater. 

"I love having the opportunity to share my passion for dance with my students. Watching their own passion spark and develop over time is my strongest motivator to provide them with the best training possible."

Hailey Fleming

Hailey is a senior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, studying Elementary Education. Hailey has been dancing for 14 years and is trained in tap, ballet, pointe, jazz, hip hop, and  lyrical/contemporary. She was also a member of the Lincoln North Star Dazzlers dance team for 4 years. 

“I strive to provide my students with a fun opportunity of learning dance, while also growing and making friends. This year I am excited to work with a wide variety of ages on the company team!”

Jen Jacoba

Jen has taken dance lessons since the age of 3. She has studied ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and pointe. She began teaching dance when she was 17. Outside of the studio, Jen is an Early Childhood Para-Educator for Pyrtle Elementary School. 

"I strive to offer my students the opportunity to think for themselves in and out of the classroom. Providing a positive atmosphere for my students is my top priority. Seeing them glow with the sense of accomplishment is the joy of teaching for me."

Annastazya Spickelmier

Annastazya is a sophomore at Nebraska Wesleyan University, where she is a member of the Gold Rush dance team for the second year in a row. She has been dancing for 18 years and has held several different roles in the Lincoln Midwest Ballet Company's production of the Nutcracker, as well as competed for many years. 

"I strive to guide my students to become better dancers. I provide a fun and beneficial learning environment, to encourage my students to work hard and reach their dance goals."

Kaylie Trumble

Kaylie is an Honors student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she is studying Speech-Language Pathology. She started dance at the age of two and is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, pom, and musical theatre. Kaylie is a North Star High School alumni where she received multiple high-achievement awards throughout her active four years in both theatre and cheer.

"Dance has always been a way of self-expression for me, and now that I am a teacher, I hope to inspire my students to challenge themselves with technique, while learning how to embrace what makes them unique and individual as dancers."

Cammie Chandler

Cammie is a senior at Lincoln High School, where she is entering her third year on the Pomalinks dance team. Cammie began dancing at the age of 6, and is trained in ballet, tap, contemporary, lyrical, jazz, and hip hop. She also participated in competitive dance for several years. Cammie has been an exceptional assistant instructor for many years as well.

"I am very excited to have my own classes this year and I look forward to growing my relationships with my students and parents."

Tessie Averill

Tessie has been dancing since the age of 10 and teaching since age 16. She has studied in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, acro and also has a background in gymnastics. Tessie has learned from Olympic gymnasts as well as dance teachers and coaches all over the United States.

"I strive to give my students the knowledge to achieve their personal goals. I strongly believe that every dancer deserves a loving and supportive teacher to help them become the best they can be, not only in the studio, but in life."

Kaylie Aldred

Kaylie is a freshman at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She has studied ballet, tap, lyrical, and jazz. She has been dancing since the age of three and has also been an assistant instructor for many years previously.

“Dance has always been a passion of mine and a way to express myself. I hope to help my students grow and become more confident through dance, providing a positive, family-like atmosphere.”

Jenna McCarter

Jenna is a Junior at East High School, where she is an active member of the marching band. She has been dancing for 12 years, and she has been with Sydney for over ten years. Jenna is also a current member of Greater Impact’s Competitive Dance team and has been a member for seven years.

"Throughout my years dancing, I have been blessed with with wonderful teachers, I look up to and learn from. I am excited to provide that same love and guidance to each and every one of my students."

Jennie Hammel

Jennie has had a passion for dance since the age of five. She has studied ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and contemporary through studio and dance intensives. She enjoyed dancing competitively on her high school and studio dance teams. She is currently a junior at UNL studying Elementary Education and Psychology.

“I’m so excited to be a part of the Greater Impact family! I am looking forward to sharing my love of dance in a creative, encouraging environment where dancers have fun and grow in their ability and confidence!”
